BSA Pysicals for Summer Camp and other Council activities

Our in house physician has handed out the BSA physical forms at our last meeting. Parents please fill these out with the information that you know, this will speed up the process and allow more physicals done in one evening. We are hoping to get them all done in two meetings. Please be ready by April 16th to start with them and finish them on the 30th of April. Any Questions please call the Scoutmaster.

Fall Camporee

The fall camporee will be held at Lakeshore Technical College from September 28th through September 30th, 2012. The theme of this event is Public Safety.

Tentative Activities:

Rank Advancement Stations for new Scouts, Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class.
Competitions/Activities: Geocaching, Frisbee Golf, Campfire, Skits, Axe Throwing, and more.

· Merit Badge Requirement Stations: Climbing, Communications, Crime Prevention, Emergency Preparedness, Fingerprinting, Fire Safety, First Aid, Geocaching, Law, Safety, Traffic Safety

Troop 851 Merit Badge Activities

For the next year, the troops have decided on working on various merit badges. Over the next 12 month they will work with their leaders to accomplish as many as they can while completely taking in all the knowledge available. We will post the next three months worth of Merit Badges that the boys will be working on and update as we go…….Most of all, Have fun doing your best!!!

Camo Quilt Project

The Camo Quilt Project is looking for magazines to send over to the troops along with their Quilts. All types of recent Mens or Women’s magazines are acceptable. You can bring your magazines to the Troop meeting or take them to the CQP. Below you will find the link to the CQP for info and address to drop off the magazines or to Volunteer your time to help the CQP.
