Our troop is going to go camping this month! Febuary 24, 25, and 26th More information will be avaiable at our troop meetings. OA Elections: Someone is coming to our Troop on March 19th, 2012 to talk about the OA Elections. More to follow. The district’s life to eagle expo (an information session for Scouts who are life rank, or almost life, and are ready to start working on Eagle requirements) is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, March 8 at LTC. This is the same date/time the district has its roundtable and OA chapter meeting. It’s for the Scout AND Parent(s). I plan on taking Ian. I am also willing to take as many others as will fit in my van. I will announce this at the next meeting and then as the date draws closer. No reservations are necessary for this free event. For the next year, the troops have decided on working on various merit badges. Over the next 12 month they will work with their leaders to accomplish as many as they can while completely taking in all the knowledge available. We will post the next three months worth of Merit Badges that the boys will be working on and update as we go…….Most of all, Have fun doing your best!!! The Camo Quilt Project is looking for magazines to send over to the troops along with their Quilts. All types of recent Mens or Women’s magazines are acceptable. You can bring your magazines to the Troop meeting or take them to the CQP. Below you will find the link to the CQP for info and address to drop off the magazines or to Volunteer your time to help the CQP. |
